first_imgSubmitted to Sumner Newscow — Today’s Wellington High School bulletin for Friday, Oct. 16, 2015:Friday•State tennis at Winfield, 11 a.m.•Varsity football at Rose Hill, 7 p.m•All School play.Saturday•Volleyball at Clearwater, 9 a.m.•State tennis at Winfield, 9 a.m.•All school play.Today’s Lunch–   Chicken Pattie, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Green Beans, Pineapple, Hot Roll and MilkMonday’s Lunch — Crispito with Red Sauce, Romaine and Tomato, Corn, Chilled Peaches, Cheesy Breadstick and Milk.Today’s News: *The theme for tonight’s game at Rose Hill is Pink Out!!*Juniors: Last Call for Magazine Sales!  If you are still holding on to any prom magazine sales, you must turn it to Mrs. Lawless or Ms. Ford by the end of the day on Monday, October 19.*Seniors- it’s about time to start thinking about your senior quote for the yearbook. Especially if you are graduating early!!*Students interested in going to Spain with Mrs.Groom June 2017-  There will be a parent meeting this Sunday at 5:00 in room 101.  Please enter through the student entrance*Love dramatic performance? Then come and see the Crusaders of the Stage production -Trail of the Lonesome Pine. They will be performing for the school on October 16th in the afternoon – cost is $2. You can give your money to your 8th hour teacher.  Other performances are on October 16th and 17th at 7:00 p.m. There will be a shortened schedule on today due to the performance. Students- Please plan accordingly.*Attention Class officers: If you want any of your float decorations that were used for the dance, please see Ms. Vaughn. Any decorations that are not claimed by Friday afternoon will be thrown away.*ATTN JUNIORS:  The Kansas Star Casino has purchased ACT vouchers for all current Juniors.  If you are planning on taking the ACT stop by the counseling office for your voucher.*US Sgt. Justin Smith will be here during lunch on Monday, October 19th.*September 14th through November 11th all student-athletes 7th through 12th grades, will be given the opportunity to attend Core-Strengthening Yoga on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 6:40-7:15 at the middle school gym.*Football players- you can turn in your $2 in the office for the football signs.Guidance office news:College visits during lunch:Friday, Oct 16- University of Kansas.Monday, Oct. 19 – Butler County CC.Thursday, October 22, Friends UniversityMonday, Nov. 2- Hutchinson CC.Fun Fact of the Day:October is National Pizza Month. The largest pizza ever made was in South Africa.
